full-HD

Full-HD means that the device can display the full HDTV-Signal of 1920 x 1080 pixels - as opposed to the simple HD-Signal of 1280 x 720 pixel progressive (720p).

Display resolution

The display resolution of a digital television or computer display typically refers to the number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed. See also pixels.

HDTV

In broad terms "high definition TV" denotes television with high resolution. HDTV can transfer up to five times more picture information compared to regular analog televisions, offering sharper, more brilliant images richer in detail. The possibilities with which to send HDTV are: 1280 x 720 pixel in full screen (720p) and 1920 x 1080 pixels in half screen (1080i interlaced) or full screen (1080p progressive).
