Sony Playstation 2 has the biggest variety of games, because it was wide spread and market leader for a long time. You have the best picture quality using a PAL TV, if you use HD you will have less quality. The PS 2 plays DVDs and Audio-CDs, has surround sound, short charging times and little running noise. With EyeToy and SingStar, Sony attracted a lot of users. EyeToy has a little camera which is placed onto the TV with which it registers every movement and controls the image on the screen. The karaoke modul SingStar has two microphones to record the singing and software which compares the singing quality with the melody and evaluates it. The PS 2 has been on the European market for 8 years, and it is no wonder that the technology is no longer state of the art.
